 Our Story
We live at Kennisis Lake on an island for as much of the summer season as we
can, about a kilometer from the rental cottage. During the summer
season, we are often at the island and can be available on short notice to
lend a helping hand should you need it.
We inspect the cottage between rentals to ensure that your vacation is
pleasant and there are no surprises.
In 1995 we bought a vacant
mainland property to use as an access point to the island. Since we already
owned the land on the mainland, we thought it would make sense to build a
cottage and rent it. The rental cottage was completed in June
2003.
To access our island, we park across the street from the rental cottage and walk
down the driveway to the dock and boat.
My 'day job' is primarily as a consultant in IT (I built this web site
for example). We commute to Toronto/Cobourg when
we have to. Our goal is to spend more time at the lake and get out of the
rat race. The rental property is part of that plan.
